New Board Means New Administrator for Kingsville Hills Subdivision

A Lesson in Small-time Politics…

The election for new Antipolo Home-Owner’s Association officers is over and the outgoing Kingsville Hills Subdivision Board of Trustees had its last membership meeting on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

They have plenty of accomplishments to be proud of after two years in office.

The big issue at the meeting now is how to address the aging self-contained KHS water system which has become unreliable and expensive to maintain. A representative of Manila Water was at the meeting to inform participants of their options. Residents will soon be asked to make a choice between four options to solve this problem.

Soon after that meeting Jesus Sugui issued a gracious statement on the HOA Webpage informing that he was no longer the Administrator, to be replaced effective May 15 by the former administrator, who is son of a new board member.

Success was not enough to assure Mr. Sugui job security as an at-will employee of the KHS Board.

Despite his disappointment at losing this job, I told Mr. Sugui that at our age we only worked for service, and he didn’t need this job as much as this organization needed his experience, knowledge and administrative skills. Furthermore, his accomplishments as Administrator would have taken 10 years for most people to do!

Here are slides of the PowerPoint presentation by Mr. Sugui to the Board and residents in attendance at the meeting.

Enjoy your Retirement, Mr. Sugui. I predict YOU WILL BE MISSED!
