Community Holidays and DONNY’s STORE!
December 8, 2024 As a foreigner in Philippines this writer has been particularly fortunate through God’s grace to meet so many wonderful people and experience quality accommodations here. I once believed the way Alaska is run was natural and inevitable but now I know it is not.
Here, I have experienced honorable people and quality of living never witnessed before, although I must also admit I have never seen such poverty except in Alaska villages.
A national community of caring exists here in the only Asian country that is majority Christian. Philippines is also Alaska’s best friend in the world.
Fiesta!
Philippines is an Optimistic, Culturally Rich, Economically Developing Country
Kingsville Hills Subdivision (KHS) is in Antipolo City, in the historic Province of Rizal.
I have been living most of the time in this gated community with armed guards protecting life and property. Armed security is prominent throughout Philippines. In fact, crime in Philippines has subsided in recent decades as Alaska–the furthest west outpost of USA– has become a haven for criminals and incompetent/corrupt government officials.
These are only the crimes known to police; Alaska has a culture of crime. Currently, PH: 4.32 violent offenses per 100,000 population. AK: 700 violent offenses per 100,000 population.
This crime rate for an AK population of 733,406 (2023) has to do with the caliber of people who come to Alaska, the weak laws protecting law-abiding citizens, and the overwhelmed court system.
While the numbers don’t lie about crime, AK politicians do. Philippines population is 117.3 million (2023). Given the visible and abundant civil security force in Philippines, a crime rate of 700/100,000 residents would qualify this country as a war zone. At various times in Alaska’s history The People have insisted on strong public safety–like when the Alaska Pipeline was about to be built in the late 1970s–but despite an outcry against the then increasing crime epidemic beginning in 2016 and a weak-kneed governor who ran on Law and Order–the state’s exorbitant crime rate is seeing only modest decline in recent years.
Dunleavy’s Crime Fighting Happytalk
July 8, 2019 (Anchorage) – Alaska Governor Michael J. Dunleavy today signed into law House Bill 49, a criminal justice reform package championed and ushered through the legislature by his administration.
“Alaska’s crime statistics have gone through the roof as verified by the FBI and members of our own administration. Our property crimes are higher than most places in the United States. Our sexual assault rates are unspeakable. We have one of the highest murder rates in the country. But that’s going to change with the advent of this bill being signed today,” said Governor Michael Dunleavy.

Frontier AK Cops Get Away With Murder in 2024
…Leafa’s English was not very strong, and when the police ordered her to drop the knife she was holding downward by her side, they said it didn’t take much for the officers to shoot.
“She made one movement, a little tiny movement,” Rosalie Tialavea, Leafa’s oldest sister said. “They shot her three times. … They saw her go down on the second shot and they had to fire another one.”
This happened in the family home.
[2] Anchorage: Where EVERY Officer-involved Shooting IS Justified, DONN LISTON, October 25, 2024.
While Alaska has become a very dangerous place, Liston has enjoyed an amazing career there since graduation from East Anchorage High school in 1969, including 20 years as a resident of Alaska’s Capital of Juneau.
I am proud of my Alaska career of accomplishment.

Security of Filipino People is a National Priority and I have Never Before Felt Safer!
Looking back one year:
On October 31, 2023 I had the opportunity to interview the administrator of this community, Jesus T Sugui, and later that evening I attended the village Halloween Party put on by the Homeowner’s Association Board of Trustees.
This is a Review and Update on that Story–More Than One Year Later
It Was a Wonderful Community Event
Q: How many homes are there in Kingsville Hills?
A: About 400, and new ones are being built on almost every street. We have many foreigners from Japan, Germany, USA, who marry Filipina women.
Quality Local Professionals Retire Here, Too
From this story:
Over 60 years in Alaska I have known the high cost of in-state medical care, particularly dental care, which usually requires separate insurance coverage. I have also heard of Alaskans traveling out of country and paying for a nice vacation for the price of certain Alaska health care procedures. In fact, many medical professionals including nurses and doctors around the world were trained in quality Philippines training centers. Some of these newly trained doctors migrate to USA to practice, as has happened with relatives of Dr. Gedang, whose family has deep ties here in Antipolo.

Q: You have a board of directors that hires you and you have duties to make sure the village is safe and working properly. How do you see your job?
A: I have lived here more than 20 years and seen how it is run. I have been observant of how different groups have different ideas about how to make this a better community, what we should spend our money on, or whether we should only save money.
Q: In the past year in this position what have you established as priorities for funding?
A: Perimeter Fences required upgrading, with razor wire around the top. We cannot have people just coming in without going through the gate. They cannot come here and steal our fruits—mango, avocado, bananas. Security is important. We have only one gate. That’s the entry point and the exit point. It’s very secure that way.
Any vehicle coming to the gate must allow their driver’s license to be scanned. The tricycle, the motorcycles, jeepneys, autos all must have licenses scanned when passing through the gate. If there is a problem, we can have that information.
Q: With all of the construction going on here how do you know if persons with criminal intent are not coming in to work as laborers?
A: We require construction companies to post a bond to make them responsible for illegal acts of workers. And we require workers to wear yellow shirts and undergo regular drug tests.. If they are caught not wearing the required yellow shirt, we fine them 500 pesos. The bond is refundable if the company completes the project according to the specified plans.
Q: In fact, you have installed a new security system for the whole village, right?
A: Yes, we call that CCTV, beginning from the guardhouse and distributed in several strategic areas in the residences where these cameras will serve as a safety net to see any kind of untoward incident that may come or robbery or vandalism.
We also have better lighting. Before we could not contact the guards directly but we have cell phones and walkie-talkies now.
2024 Trick or Treat Stations
Q: Did you have any special things you wanted to do when you took the position?
A: The overlooking area is about one kilometer from my house and I have often walked there to see the entire Laguna Lake Valley. That was my first project, to turn that into a park with picnic tables and benches. From there we can see the windmills on the far side at Pillila, Rizal and the huge cement plant below.
Q: One thing I have noticed in Philippines since coming here is there is a lot of litter everywhere. Even in this village there seems to be a lot of paper and plastics on the ground.
A: I think it will take putting it into the elementary school curriculum; nobody seems to care, they just throw things down even though we have waste cans everywhere. Additionally, we also are going to build a trash management and recycling facility on Cottonwood Street.
Q: What skills and background do you bring to this position?
A: I worked here in Philippines as a mall warehouse manager. I also worked at Jollibee as a shift manager in the food business. I’ve been working for 40 years in cost accounting/cost control for construction, going through the Middle East; Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Abu Dhabi. The last stint in that career I worked in accounting at the Afghanistan base. Our company had the concession with the US Army to build the airport and the barracks for Afghan soldiers over about three years. That’s an American company.
Q: So you’re an example of a highly skilled Filipino person who has gone and worked in many other countries to do things and produce things in those countries? And then, after that career you come back to Philippines as your home?
A: Yes, I helped determine the most efficient way to get things done. We set priorities and we have budgets and we manage costs for best results. That is also what I am doing here as Administrator with the elected board. We have to manage our resources and build projects to improve the quality of life for everyone.
Building community is also important, This first Kingsville Hills Halloween Party appeared to be a hit with the families who attended.
Today Liston Has been Exiled from Alaska in Fear for His Life Two Years
This writer has declared in multiple court filings and website posts how AK Courts rewarded Outside scammers who violated me–burglarizing my home and stealing my Ring Security System to make sure I knew I would never again be safe there. Even after a 2-1/2 court hour hearing, and being granted a court order directing these criminals to return the security system and other items stolen, Judge Pamela Washington refused to enforce that order, ultimately joining Judge Josie Garton in awarding the brazen Georgia scammers the items they stole and everything else Liston owned in 2024.
The Fix Was In
Judge Washington’s Order Meant Nothing
I have broken NO ALASKA or FEDERAL LAWS but I was violated by outrageous acts of lawlessness in what amounts to a 3rd World State neighboring Communist Russia. Alaskans reading this post and seeking refuge from the crime capital of USA should consider Philippines as a glorious option.
From this Story:
Everything Dunleavy is political grandstanding, nothing more. This governor doesn’t have the guts to really take on the abortion death cult or face the reality of our bottom of the nation schools or tackle the Office of Children’s Services destruction of Alaska families. The US Supreme Court case Roe vs Wade has been overturned but like so many Alaska phenomenon current practice will continue until forced to change by a federal court.

A Government Run for The People
Passport Bros!
From the story:
Once Bill Borden, dba High Caliber Realty, Inc. (sic) became involved the confidence scam initiated by his mother, it would involve a number of AK Court Lawfare Judge enablers. The goal of scammers is always to entangle and wear down a mark until they give up. Liston has fought this battle alone, with supportive friends who have observed his on-going struggles, and witnessed the truth.

Traditional Alaskans are Fighters and Survivors!
Election of Donald Trump as President Gives Hope to Americans Targeted by Institutionalized Government Crime
AK Courts Don’t Care About Alaskans
Background to this Scam
After maintaining his mother in squalor after death of her husband in 2006, Southern Huckster Bill pimped her out at age 81 to someone she had only known a few months online, with a sham marriage in a Georgia park. Bill’s wife and co-broker, Brenda Borden, was the only witness. My Oklahoma relatives would have called people who exploit people at the darkest times of their lives White Trash. Borden performed this sham marriage ceremony with the goal of divorce, to steal everything Liston owned, including the home left when his wife of 29 years, Cathy Liston died in 2019.
If I Had Done what they Accused me of doing I Would be Ashamed
Alaska courts asked for extensive detailed financial information unavailable to Liston in exile without considering Liston’s claim of a sham marriage requiring annulment. The court refused to consider any of Liston’s evidence of wrongdoing in a prolonged court circus Liston could only attend telephonically–even KNOWING Liston had been put in jail on false Domestic Violence charges at the start and had left state for fear of his life.
All Liston has left from Alaska is His Voice but God is so Good!
